For homes in the $400,000-$600,000 range, we look to Broadmoor Oaks, Broadmoor Bluffs, Broadmoor Hills, Stratmoor Hills, Stratmoor Valley, and Stratton Meadows. Skyway may have some properties at lower price points. Ivy Wild and Rock Creek and Turkey Canon are worth checking out. This is a very scenic area with views of Pikes Peak and Cheyenne Mountain.
Southeast Colorado Springs Older Neighborhoods
Southeast Colorado Springs is an area of smaller cottages and bungalows with lower prices. Some streets are rundown and are not considered family-friendly. However, this area is more affordable and very convenient to downtown and Old Colorado City.
Fountain Valley and Security/Widefield
Security/Widefield are long-standing cities south of Colorado Springs. They are part of Fountain Valley which runs along the entire eastern side of Fort Carson. Fountain Valley has won awards for its involved citizenry, parks, and schools. There are many neighborhoods including newer subdivisions such as Countryside and Fountain Valley Ranch. Clearview Estates, Pheasants Run Ranch, Spring Creek, Gateway Park, Southborough, and Deerfield Hills.
