Why Movement towards Colorado Springs?
Well, take a look around. At the foot of Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs captured the hearts of her founders. The Broadmoor Hotel hosted many a traveler coming for rest and relaxation. They came for the beauty, healthy water, and mountain air. And the moderate climate.
Look again and see the picturesque neighborhoods. Buyers find their Colorado Springs real estate all over the city. There are so many choices. What urban property or historic homes? Or master planned communities? How about horse properties? Homes in Fountain to Black Forest in a great selection of subdivisions come in many price points. The desirable neighborhoods make relocation easy.
Then, get out of the house. Explore byways and destinations. On foot, on a bicycle, or on horseback. The thoughtful citizens of Colorado Springs established citywide trail systems and large regional parks. And trails continue into the Rocky Mountains. There are so many places to go. Visit Garden of the Gods, galleries and museums, Old Colorado City, Olympic Center, etc.
Always Moving
Colorado Springs is a military town with a large college-age population. Both are mobile. Fort Carson, Schriever and Peterson Air Force bases, and USAFB are here. Families come and go from several military installations on a regular basis. And then we have students. Students attend University of Colorado – Colorado Springs, Colorado College, and Pikes Peak Community College. A large percentage of them choose to stay after graduation.
