As of the end of December 2012, Colorado Springs home sales are off to a good winter thrust. In fact, both the Denver and Colorado Springs real estate markets are showing encouraging signs of improvement. On December 31, there were almost 400 pending home sales in El Paso County. For Colorado Springs homes, reported prices are up for two-, three-, and four-bedroom options, year over year August 2011 to August 2012—7.6 percent, 8.4 percent and 4.9 percent, respectively.
